The LM6000 T4.8 EGT thermocouple is OEM qualified and includes several improvements over previous designs. Materials are carefully selected for long product life and superior performance. A new single crystal alloy used for the probe support significantly enhances high temperature mechanical strength. The upgraded thermocouple sheath material improves high temperature oxidation and creep resistance. Best of all, AMETEK’s T4.8 thermocouple is completely interchangeable so it can be used on all LM6000 applications.
